- The scene in which and teacher swings round one of his student's desks and shakes it is quite intense and unexpected. The scene in which a boy is kicked and beaten is also pretty intense. Bullying. Fights between students. The main character develops pneumonia and continues to teach instead of resting. In a school scene, he faints while teaching about gravity and it takes the students a while to figure out that he actually fainted. Later he is shown being loaded into an ambulance.
