The story of Joyti De-Laurey, a secretary at Goldman Sachs, who went from a temp, to a top PA, who managed to pinch a lot of money.
It's a great, great watch, a captivating story, and one that will maybe have you a little bit conflicted. The PA's are expected to live a life of poverty, as the bosses live extravagant life styles. Joyti, what a person to have a coffee with and ask a few questions, if only.
It's along the same lines as The Thieving Headmistress, which starred Pauline Quirke.
The interviews are so insightful, you're given a real insight into the real Joyti.
Meera Syal, truly one of Britain's best, she is just perfect here as Joyti, she's incredibly convincing, and wonderfully believable. You just see the relish on her face, I loved the scenes of her spending wildly, she looks so beautiful at times, particularly in that Chanel suit.
A great drama.
9/10.
