This movie has a simple elegance yet has a few twists that surprised me. It's really just a story about two lonely people on Christmas night. It has a BEFORE SUNRISE/SUNET quality to it, and in that sense it's pretty talky. But the dialogue is engaging and the characters charming. Liz DuChez and Spencer Jay Kim are very likable as our tour guides through this holiday journey. They are genuinely engaging...luckily so, since they really carry the whole movie. We do, however, see DANNY TREJO in a delightful supporting role that is quite unlike anything else I've seen him play. Overall, I really enjoyed this sweet, charming movie.
