Enjoyed this new film

Well worth a watch or two! This finely directed little romp pokes fun at the suburban icons budding adolescents-without-a-cause. I am 48, and I laughed right alongside my 15 year old daughters who thought it was tires cool and entertaining.

I'm glad to see this humorous approach to this subject with teens. We have just this year seen Corporate Film-making approach suburban drug culture in SHOtime's "Weeds," even though, of course, the subject has been covered seriously in independent and foreign films for years -- "Christiane F" (Germany) and "Pixote" (Brazil) to mention just two...

Can we see anything else directed by Mr. Duffy? How about the first film, "Me & Max" that was acquired by HBO?

A very light hearted comedy that takes the taboo out of everyday cannabis usage. Funny, very funny. Not your parents after school special. nicely edited. No shaky student film here. The "Desparate Hippies" are all very talented. I especially loved Chee and her drunken buffoonery's. Refreshing piece of work. This young filmmaker should be proud of herself on taking on the supposed moral majority. This is just fun and everyday normal American life. The fact that all the characters seem to be on the reviving end of poetic justice and not having their pretty faces save the day was quite hilarious. More flicks like this, please.
