Light hearted comedy in typical Spanish style ; plenty of humor , amusement , twists and silly situations
ma-cortes10 August 2016
Funny yarn full of laughs , entertainment , amusement and ridiculous happenings . This is a special Spanish comedy from the 2000s that contains the usual ingredients such as charming humor topped with a little bit of original touches here and there , though the tone of the film is light-hearted . Amusing comedy with an all-Comedian Spanish-star-cast including fun situations , hilarious scenes and mayhem . Entertaining comedy with great players , concerning an idea of physical impairments filled with drunkenness , love stories and Discoteque parties . Being well written by Albert Espinosa and directed by Joaquin Oristrell with a good cast , though some inappropriate players . ¨Nadie Es Perfecto¨ or "Nobody Is Perfect" is a story of three handicapped friends and their problems , illusions and loves . The 3 intimate friends (Fernando Tejero , Santi Millán , José Luis García Pérez) pass through life exploring love , hardships and staying together . All of them become involved into twisted as well as silly relationships , having a good time and some distresses .

This interesting as well as charming film is full of comical incidents , agreeable scenes , entertainment , a lot of affection and being quickly paced . It is a crazy Spanish comedy that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever , one enjoys the simplicity of this story ; though it has some fun and hilarious moments . Humor is sometimes cheesy and gross-out with numerous naughty and picaresque situations such as sex jokes , jealousy , and erotic scenes , as well as love scenes . Enjoyable comedy , full of color and some really brilliant frames ; dealing with improbable events and about the fact that normal healthy people with a fully functional body too are lacking on some other senses . It is plenty of emotion , sexual obsession , humor , profanities , mayhem and surprise ending . Starred by a group of disabled people , all challenged by their impairments but taking life as it comes . The time is great for its humour , nutty happenings and comic timing ; however , it has some flaws and gaps . This fun story displays a trio of sensational protagonists : Fernando Tejero , Santi Millán and José Luis García Pérez . In addition , an unforgettable plethora of secondaries , very well played , and giving sympathetic interpretations , such as : Teresa Hurtado De Ori , Xavier Corominas , Mireia Ros , Alicia Orozco , Carmen Balagué , Jordi Bosch , the Porno star Nacho Vidal and uncredited Mercedes Sampietro and Juan Diego Botto .

Adding a colorful cinematography by Teo Delgado and a catching musical score by Mastretta . The motion picture was produced by Jaume Roures/ Mendez and Tamarit and regularly directed by Joaquin Oristrell . He usually writes his films and occasionally for other directors/writers such as Manuel Gómez Pereira , and Yolanda Garcia Serrano , all of them are ordinary collaborators . Joaquin is married to actress Carmen Balagué and is considered to be a good writer and filmmaker . Joaquin has directed as well as written nice films . Oristell is expert on filming comedies (Dieta Mediterranea , unconscious , Sin Verguenza , ? De Que Rien Las Mujeres ¿) but being most famous as an original writer (Love causes seriously damage your health , Off Key , Between your legs , Extasis) . His latest projects, however, tanked as "Hablar" starred by an all-star-cast but was a failure both economically and artistically or simply didn't deliver . Nowadays , he writes and directs TV chapters , such as Felipe y Letizia (TV Mini-Series) , Cuentame series , A la Romana , ? Quieres Algo Más? . This flick titled "Nobody Is Perfect" will appeal to Spanish cinema fonds . Rating : 5,5/10 . Passable and entertaining .

A comedy with a background of friendship among cripples
narsi689 March 2008
Watched this on the World Movies channel with Subtitles.

Three disabled persons; a blind guy, a deaf guy and a guy with an artificial leg. They decide to spend the night out to celebrate the last night as a bachelor for the blind guy. They start with watching a movie.

Then they decide to go to a night club. But they have no money and find a way of making some. One of them is denied entry and ends up hanging out with another guy denied entry. The other two end up finding partners but separate and have different experiences.

Do not expect too much excitement though. Overall, a nice movie to relax and unwind.

Laughter

I found this film very funny and original. It is about how three friends with disabilities (deaf-mute, lame and blind) get together to go out, and each one gets separated and lets himself go.

You can see that the film is very cheerful and narrates the ideal life of many everyday situations such as friendship, laughter and love. Everything is told from a superficial and unrealistic point of view, but it makes it dreamlike and entertaining.

The relationship of the characters is quite curious with each one having their own particularity and the dialogue is quite well done. It works a lot with the evolution of the characters and their connections such as "laughter". In this sense, it combines the funny part with the emotion of connecting with someone.

In conclusion, I liked this movie for its originality and the evolution and connection of the characters.

imperfect trio - a perfect comedy
dr_araman1 November 2010
very rarely do you get to see a film which makes you laugh every minute and finally come out of the screening still smiling ... this is one. I was unable to contain my laughter at such brilliant combination of physically challenged friends who could pull each other's leg at every opportunity and in that process make their disability lighter. The spare leg in the car and the car towed to be impounded, efforts of the trio to get the car back without paying any penalty are very ingenious and thoroughly enjoyable moments.... just to give an example. After a long time I experienced roaring laughters one after another along with the audience. The director has done a remarkable job of providing a decent comedy without affecting the sensitivity of disabled people, who may even relate to the movie quite comfortably... when thy see it. The editing, casting and music are all a brilliant team work, as much as that of the trio who have put in their best performances. Well done guys.
