Opening credits list characters by their names, instead of the names of the actors playing them.
After showing the partner and distribution companies, the film is introduced via a typed (i.e., appearing in a typewriter-like font) description of the opening, in the standard format for a screenplay: "Fade in: Opening titles and music." The action that follows this description mirrors it. There then appears a description of the opening scene of the body of the film and an introduction of two of the characters, with the picture, again, corresponding to the screenplay as read. This distancing repeats for the end credits when the words, "The Camera Cranes Up and Away...Out Further, until they are a speck in the square...Further Still, as we lose them to the whole of London" come up on the screen."
