Missing the bang that gets a good sitcom started.

Warning: Spoilers
While this has a great cast and decent writing, it's missing a spark to get the network exited and entice advertisers. James Stacy, Lynn Loring and Joan Blondell star as a young children's doctor opening up his first practice, his nurse girlfriend and the seasoned nurse he hires. There's also Gavin McLeod as the audacious dentist in the office next to his, a similar set-up to "Bob Newhart" a decade later. Familiar faces include Madge Blake as a worried grandmother and Johnny Whittaker as a little leaguer who visits the office. Stacy and Loring are sweet potato in comparison to the outrageous Blundell whose big-hearted nurse would have made a memorable character had the series sold. The situations are amusing but slight, and even though there was no other show on the air like it, it doesn't seem to have had lasting power.
