This short was originally done as a student project in UCLA Film School. The music originally used during the "Excalibur" sequence was "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". Due the fact that "Carmina Burana" was still under copyright and is its licensing fees were very pricey, it was necessary for Wil Panganiban and Aaron Smith to replace this music with a sound-alike when the project was sold to an animation festival. So Wil enlisted his college roommate Michael F. Miller to write the sound-alike music which replaced the real "Carmina Burana". Mike's friend Naoki Taniguchi created the MIDI performance that is heard in the final version of this short.
