Very well done
I was able to see this film at a screening at a local UCC church. It was a well done film. The subject matter was dealt with in a sensitive manor, and not in the least exploitive. The film was presented by one of the producers, who shared that the film was very intentional in dealing with Malcolm's present and future, and not his past.
I would recommend this film to anyone who knows someone, or who is themselves transgender / transsexual. It deals with issues of family, faith, and friendship. The film is a series of interviews by Malcolm with people from his life, and those who have transitioned, as well as the mother of a transgendered person who was murdered.
If this film is showing near you, it is worth the effort to see it.
