This two part story is somewhat conventional, along the lines of the usual plot and theme, embracing the eventualities occurring amongst the primitive population of the back woods. It contains stirring scenes. The photography is bright and the acting on the part of all is commendable. - The Moving Picture World, July 11, 1914
