In "Prince of Poker," several of the dramatized scenes depicting the 2000 World Series of Poker show many of the players splashing the pot which is not correct tournament etiquette and in reality the players would be warned of this. ("Splashing the pot" is poker lingo for throwing chips into the pile of chips that have been bet already.)
In "Prince of Poker" James McManus is shown winning his satellite tournament on an all-in hand, but if he's all in then he's behind in chips, thus he can't win the tournament on that hand.
In "Prince of Poker", a man comes up to TJ Clotier and expresses how much he loves watching him play on the World Poker Tour. This episode chronicled events which occurred in 2000; the World Poker Tour wasn't created until 2003.
