With Fuc. Norge, director Reinert Kiil sets a new standard for extreme low-budget movies. Made with practically no money and mostly just help from his friends, filmed with a DV camera and edited on his home computer, it is amazing how the sum of all the small pieces comes out to something great.
The film is marred by some technical bloopers, mostly related to the editing done on a home computer. Also, much of the movie is out of focus and really dark. The DVD transfer is watchable, but not great. Also, it is worth noting that this is, according to Kiil himself, a "sketch". The movie is currently being remade on a larger budget with more professional equipment, and we look forward to that!
Like with any splatter movie, the story is just a necessary frame in order for the director to show off his sick imagination, and here Kiil really delivers! Zombies, witches, knives, snow-grinders (don't ask ;) ) and gallons of blood all adds up to great horror and great fun! Anyone interested in amateur movies or horror/splatter movies should check this out!
