The TV series is a Mexican show. "La tremenda corte" began as a radio show in Cuba, being broadcasted from 1942 to 1961. Cuban government took over Radio CMQ (where "La tremenda corte" was produced) and the show was cancelled. Actors Leopoldo Fernández ("Trespatines") and Aníbal de Mar ("El Juez") moved to Mexico, where "La tremenda corte" was resurrected as this TV series, produced in Monterrey, Mexico from 1965 to 1969.
