A photoplay in two reels depicting realistically the life of early settlers in the Indian country. The manner in which the father quarrels with a savage over a trapped bear and the subsequent fighting was pictured convincingly. The action and suspense are good and the saving of the girl by her boy playmate was nicely shown. This is a western offering of the usual type but much better in every way than the average. The action is particularly good throughout. - The Moving Picture World, September 5, 1914
