an amazing look into the lives of two very talented artists. Thadd Day follows the married couple as they tour and record their third and best album thus far, Team Boo. If only all documentaries of your favorite band could be like this. The editing is good, the intimate shots and closeups are fulfilling, and most of the things you want to know about Mates of State are in here. Oh and I can't forget to talk about what makes this band special, and that's their live show! Every time I see them live, somebody will lean over and ask me who this band is, I tell them "Mates of State, where have you been?" From then on they're a fan, that's how I discovered them. I saw them open up for The Mars Volta and The Anniversary and as soon as Korey slammed her fingers on her organ, I was a fan. Bought their only album at the time "My Solo Project" and held it tightly until their second "Our Constant Concern". Their third "Team Boo" is the best, can't wait for the new one "Like You Crazy" I think it's called. There is nobody like them, and this DVD proves it.
