- The DVD contains some deleted scenes:
- A scene where Mercedes talks to the newlywed couple in the airport.
- The scene where Eddie Kim fights his opponent is prolonged.
- A scene where you see all the passengers board the plane.
- The dialog between Three Gs and Mercedes is prolonged.
- More dialogs in the first meeting between Agent Flynn and Claire.
- The attack on Mrs. Bova is prolonged.
- A scene where Three Gs and Mercedes talk about a music video.
- The newlywed woman complains that she never will have children.
- A short scene between the newlyweds when they prepare to crash.
- More dialog in the final scene between Flynn and Claire.
- The DVD replaces a quick shot of a microwave closeup when the male flight attendant nukes a snake; instead of "popcorn," one button now reads "snake" (it appears to be a physical change and reshoot). This is not indicated anywhere on the DVD, nor is the original available, but the director confirms the change in a comment on snakesonablog.com.
- In the "world broadcast television premiere" on the FX network, the infamous "Enough is enough!..." line had to be edited, but just deleting the profanity lessened the intensity of the moment. FX opted to dub over the offending adjectives, so viewers heard, "I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"
