Sex & Nudity

  • A bathing woman's bare chest is seen very briefly from a distance.
  • One brief scene of a man and woman having sex; the telltale moving shadow of the man and woman behind a curtain can be seen, and moaning is heard. Two young children, a brother and sister, watch this then respond: "It's okay he is our father" then they go to sleep.

Violence & Gore

  • Lots of sword fighting, lot's of blood splatter but done in an unrealistic manner.
  • A man's face is crushed but only viewed by a glimpse.
  • Many people are shot by archers, arrows seen sticking out of bodys, and horse battles.

Profanity

  • Unless one speaks Mongolian, the only cursing comes through subtitles. There is a total of one use of "bastard" and 4 instances of "s***". Nothing more.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There are a few scenes in which men are seen sitting around drinking. Although no reference is made to alcohol, it is implied they are drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The battle scenes could be scary for a VERY young child.
  • As this is not a horror film, there are no "scary" scenes in the movie. Nothing pops up out of anywhere at any point.
