The boss is late for the firm's dinner and the temporary toastmaster's job is up to Jim. The moth balls roll out of his dress suit, the electric fan blows off his wig and his speech, and his burly wife kicks him in the shins.
The boss makes his bashful assistant make a speech to entertain the guests at a swell dinner until he arrives. The assistant wears a wig of which he is very self-conscious. He arrives at the dinner and tries to make his speech but he loses his notes and his wig comes off. In the uproar, his boss arrives and throws him out, after a battle with his wife.—Copyright Description from Library of Congress
