Preparing for the end
lor_11 October 2020
This great Adam & Eve series from filmmaker Toni English sets the stage for wrapping up in episode 21, as our four heroines are preparing to end their little kaffeeklatch.

It's entertaining, though Toni's decision to cut back on story and emphasize long sex scenes instead makes the newer batch of episodes inferior to early ones, especially dating back to when Lauren Montgomery was an original star of the show (replaced by Asia Carrera).

Main plot development concerns Annie (played by Dee) dating Justin (Randy Spears) even though he is the ex-lover of her great friend Tori (Asia Carrra). Spears as Justin is impressively callous and hissable in this episode, a true cad who makes us root even harder for the heroines whose feelings he's hurting. But the resulting schism between Annie and Tori is exacerbated to the breaking point.

Nina Hartley as radio host Lindsey Sherman is inspired by a caller to wax philosophically about the issue of cheating and getting back at the cheater, treated almost like balancing an equation -hence the show's subtitle Love and Math. Her final speech on the subject is well-written, credited to Toni English and Raven Touchstone.

Stay tuned for the finale.
