Terrible Italian horror.

Mariano Equizzi was the director of an interesting Italian sci-fi short movie named "Syrena". For this reason I was curious to see "The Mark" and believe me, I really wanted to like it! But, well, the movie is VERY amateurish and also very boring. It's surely influenced from the last Japanese horror movies (especially The Ring / Ringu) and it has not a single new idea. I have seen it just a week ago and i've already forgot the story. And better to not talk about the actors. I have often laughed...

As you can image this is a warning: avoid "The Mark", you will save money and time!

awful, awful, awful - worth watching for laughs

U can tell the movie is gonna suck from the very first frame. The film is shot so badly that you wonder if it was done by somebody else maybe it would have been worth watching. The story wouldn't be that bad if a little more creative juice went into the making of this flick. I understand low budget but often to make a low budget movie work what u need is a good director. This is not the case for The Mark. Director Mariano Equizzi can easily be placed in the little black book of people i'll never see the work of again. In addition to that the dubbing (??dubbing??) and sound mixing is just terrible, high-school student movie terrible. The music it's all right. Over all if you come by this movie on emule get it and watch it just for the giggles :D
