Michael McHugh has done a wonderful job in telling the story of a man who witnessed Bloody Sunday as a young journalist, and his complex feelings about the event and how he covered it. It gives compelling insight into the journalistic process, a view rarely seen in today's dumbed-down tabloid world.
In addition to the journalists story, McHugh's film has never before seen footage of demonstrations that occurred before Bloody Sunday, foreshadowing the day's terrible events. A well shot, well edited film that's worth anyone's time.
