An unusually good Western number with a surprise feature at the close. Fred Hearne, Edna Payne and Norbert A. Myles play the leading roles. The scenes are taken in Arizona and the story is typical of that country. Detective Burton, the hero of the story, rounds up the mysterious bandit by a clever ruse; he turns out to be the father of the girl with whom he is in love. Suspicion is cleverly thrown upon the assistant sheriff. The photography is generally good. - The Moving Picture World, January 23, 1915
