Sex & Nudity

  • Since this can be classified as a religious film, SEX IS NEVER DEPICTED. However, the sexual thematics in this film may be a little harsh for very some audiences.
  • Several woman in bikinis playing beach volleyball are shown in the background of a scene.
  • Some woman in bikini are shown crossing two Mormon missionaries in the street (as if that never happen in reality). One of the missionaries looks behind.

Violence & Gore

  • Gang warfare is a plot mayor point in this film. However, it can be seen by kids and teenagers with special advise since it's not too graphic in the depiction of violence. The following points are depicted in a way to avoid to disturb a sensitive audience:
  • A violent gang shooting is depicted in a very fast way, showing wounded victims and a couple of dead bodies in the aftermath. Blood is shown but in a minimal way.
  • A kid gets stabbed and is left to die. No blood shown. His dead body is shown afterwards in the morgue.

Profanity

  • God is mentioned some times but in a religious context (while in prayers and gospel teaching, for instance), therefore it's not a profanity at all.
  • A character is addressed as a "Jesus freak", intended as an insult.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is shown drinking a beer while listening to Mormon missionaries.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A shooting between a latin gang against an afroamerican gang is depicted. There are dead victims as well as injured ones.
