Cute short about a klutzy woman who dies stupidly and ends up in Purgatoryt, which turns ot to be a dreary office setting. Supposedly shot in Los Angeles, the film is populated by Canadian actors (including EUREKA's Colin Ferguson). There's not much more to it than what I have described, but it moves along at a rapid pace and offers a laugh or two along the way. The ending has a snarky twist that I dare not reveal here. For the guys, watch for a completely gratuitous shot early on of the young woman's reasonably attractive derrière. I;m not sure what that was all about, because she is actually pretty homely and too skinny, with a terrible haircut.

Ignore the strange doctrinal issues and just enjoy

This is a truly odd little short about the afterlife. The film begins with a very, very frazzled lady (Sandy) having a very bad day. Eventually, it gets even worse when she accidentally dies and wakes up in purgatory! They think it was a suicide (which it wasn't) and want her to stay there in a miserable dead-end job and work amongst idiots for God knows how long.
The film excels with its wicked sense of humor--I especially enjoyed the scissors scene. Pergatory is like working for a brainless bureaucracy and all the little jokes are quite cute. As for the films doctrinal issues, it will most likely offend a lot of people. My advice is don't judge the film too quickly--it's all apparently meant in fun and reasonably good taste.
