Sex & Nudity

  • Queen's song "Fat Bottomed Girls" is used for the intro credits, with the lyrics, "I knew love before I left my nursery... left alone with big fat Fanny, she was such a naughty nanny, hey big woman, you made a fat boy out of me."
  • A man mentions a "whooshing" sensation in his penis after eating a McDonald's combo meal.
  • multiple photos of woman in bikinis and maybe lingerie. Photos also include arousing pictures of women.
  • During the first round of physicals, the doctor notes they have to do a rectal exam. Immediately after, the film shows Morgan getting the rectal exam, although a black bar is superimposed over his bare butt. Even with (small) black bar superimposed, however, there is still brief nudity from the waist down & it is clear the footage is of the doctor inserting his finger into Morgan's behind.
  • During Morgan's "Last Supper" at his apartment there is artwork on the wall of a bare chested woman.
  • Morgan's girlfriend briefly discusses the effects of their sex life because of the diet, including his inability to maintain an erection due to his fast food eating. She talks about how they have to change sexual positions in relation to that. What to watch for to know this scene is coming: she is sitting alone talking to the camera with her glasses on, talking about how he is so tired at the end of the day.
  • several photograms of fully nude women from distance

Violence & Gore

  • Morgan vomits out of his truck. The vomit is then shown on-screen.
  • Death from obesity and smoking are discussed.
  • a quite graphic scene of a stomach reduction surgery
  • There are a few scenes depicting graphic stomach-reduction surgery.
  • An injection is present.
  • We see Morgan getting several blood tests.
  • An animated clip is shown with the cartoon chicken getting chopped up in the machine and blood is shown.

Profanity

  • 2 uses of bastards 1 seen written
  • 1 use of Jesus
  • 2 uses of crap
  • 1 use of penis
  • one use of "nappy hair" (referring to a black woman's hair found in a sundae at McDonald's).
  • One comic use of "fuck" in an interview.
  • 3 uses of the word "shit", 2 uses of "bastard" (both times the word is also spelled out on-screen), a couple of milder swears (hell) and the word "ni--er" is heard briefly in a song lyric.
  • People in the movie can also be heard using the word "Crap" and "Penis" in the interview.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some mild references such as when Morgan is asked at the initial physical exams about alcohol and drug usage (he replies in a way that it's "not anymore").
  • The addiction to junk food is compared with heroin addiction in conversation, though nothing particularly explicit is said.
  • A song contains some drug references in its lyrics.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Morbidly obese people are seen throughout, including young minor children. One girl laments, noting that she feels awful because she doesn't look like what the media tells her she should look like.
  • Sensitive subjects involved include obesity, cigarette-smoking, veganism, diabetes, factory farming and other topics which may be controversial/offend.
  • There is a disturbing medical procedure with classical music playing in the background.
  • Morgan vomits and the camera zooms in on it.
