The plot is amazingly simple and brilliantly executed. Casting was great - very believable characters that are real, not stereotypical. Well, maybe the 'Zen Master' Asian guy is a bit stereotypical, but his ultra-disciplined silence is humorous. These guys did an excellent job of telling a cute story in a simple and interesting way. I like the way most of the story is built through the characters' actions and subtle expressions, not lengthy dialogue. And best of all, I was not expecting the ending. It was refreshing to see a short where the director actually relied and focused on strong performances, not flashy camera or editing techniques.
