Warning: Spoilers
Look at that featured image and bask in the blobby look of a fifth-generation video and know that the people who made this - Mike Beck (who was also the chief editor of the Swedish edition of Hustler and had suspected Olof Palme-killer Christer Petterson pose naked in an issue), Richard Holm (who directs TV today) and Henrik Wadling - had a great time.

As an audience watches Halloween, a killer awakens in an office building and begins killing everyone in his path before one of the victims comes back from the dead, Freddy shows up, a karate fight gets started and everyone decides to just give up and dance to "I'm Your Boogeyman" years before Rob Zombie started playing that song.

Depending on your love of SOV movies, you're either going to be absolutely in love with this or see it as amateur hour junk. Not only is there a sequel, but the VHS tapes of this movie appear in that movie, which is the kind of meta that Scream would like you to believe that it invented.

cult movie !!!

I really love this one ! I'm a really hardcore fan of all kinds of horror movies. This is a great piece of amateur horror although Resurrection of Michael Myers Part 2 is better. I own an original copy of this bought directly from the guys that made it, and Part 2 also has a place in my collection. The guys behind this also made a movie called "Biobesökaren", about a guy at the cinema (watching Bad Dreams) that gets killed after being a pain in the ass for the other people in the cinema. Highly recommended !! If you can get your hands on a copy of Resurrection....Part 1,2 and Biobesökaren, don't hesitate. You will like it if you like horror movies. A piece of Swedish amateur/cult horror movie history from the good old days so to speak. Hope you will enjoy it and look out for it !! // Mac

Love/hate

This is a movie you either love or hate. If you like splatter movies with sick humor, you gonna love this one.

If you only watch high budget movies with good actors and expensive special effects, you will probably hate it. It's not supposed to be a high quality Hollywood production - it's made for fun. You get what you pay for.

I prefer the sequel, The Resurrection of Michael Myers 2, which was done in the same spirit as part 1. In part 2 you not only meet Michael Meyers (Halloween), but also Leatherface (Texas chainsaw massacre) and Jason Voorhees (Friday 13:th).
