We’re going to be invaded by aliens at some point. It’s a definite. So many movies can’t be wrong. Zombies will be a thing, too. I promise you. But how will we know how to prepare for these inevitabilities? With so many variations in these prophetic films, we don’t know if they’ll be enemies or friends…well, except for the zombies. I’m pretty sure the zombies will be bad, and stabbing the brain seems reasonable (I won’t be the first to do it, though). Anyway, back to aliens invading; Alien Outpost is the first movie that I’m aware of that attempts to realistically approach a hostile invasion. Finally! We have a manual to prepare! Is it any good though?
Filmed in a documentary style, Alien Outpost follows three troops sent to join an infantry corp at an outpost with the goal of hurting the alien defenses.

You're at a bar and some fictional movie character comes up and introduces her or himself. How long will it take before the subsequent conversation trends toward anything other than some form of, "But, seriously, what's your real name?"
And that's how we created this collection of the 25 worst movie character names ever. If the answer to the above hypothetical scenario was "30 seconds flat," that character made our highly-researched, scientifically-ranked list.
We've brought this feature back to the forefront in honor of Will Smith's turn as Cypher Raige in "After Earth." Yes, that's right — his name is "Cypher Raige." If you know of even worse character names than that — and that of those in the list below — hit us up in the comments.
25. Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise), 'Jack Reacher' (2012)
24. Jericho Cane (Arnold Schwarzenegger), 'End of Days' (1999)
23. Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), 'Mean Girls' (2004)
22. Jonah Hex...

A few weeks ago we learned that Syfy would be premiering its 12 Disasters of Christmas on Saturday, December 8th, and now the network has provided us with a pair of clips from the film.
Synopsis:
Just in time for the joyous holiday season, the new Syfy Original Movie 12 Disasters of Christmas takes on the ancient Mayan prophecy of worldwide destruction at the end of 2012.
In 12 Disasters of Christmas, premiering Saturday, December 8, at 9Pm (Et/Pt) on “The Most Dangerous Night of Television,” mysterious disasters connected to the Mayan prediction as well as the iconic holiday song "The 12 Days of Christmas" are systematically destroying a small town and spreading throughout the world.
A father (Ed Quinn; "Eureka," Starship Troopers 2) learns that his daughter (Magda Aponowicz; "Kyle Xy," "Caprica") is really the “Chosen One” who, alone, can stop further catastrophe – if he can stave off the lunatic townspeople blaming her for the community’s destruction.

Finally some solid details have come regarding Sony Screen Gems' next entry into the ever so toothy (and hairy, we always forget about the Lycans) Underworld franchise, Underworld 4: New Dawn. It looks as if Selene may just have found her daughter.
The latest actor to join the series is youngster India Eisley (pictured right). She'll be joining the returning Kate Beckinsale (how we missed seeing her all leathered up in the last flick) as well as the previously announced Michael Ealy, who'll be taking on the role of "Detective Sebastian"; Sandrine Holt (Starship Troopers 2, Resident Evil: Apocalypse) and Robert Lawrenson round out the cast.
Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans and are conducting an all-out...
