Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • In the Abattoir mission, the player is forced to navigate and sneak through a butcher shop. Lots of animal blood and limbs (i.e. from cows, pigs, etc.) are shown throughout.
  • Throughout the game, the player can have the option to knock out or kill guards and enemies within missions. Killing is somewhat discouraged and some missions disallow killing. The player can also use silenced weapons to shoot enemies, which result in small blood spray and no detail on injuries.
  • Two corpses are seen in a police station morgue. They both have their scalps cut open, revealing the muscle tissues underneath.
  • The PS2 and GCN versions of the game do not depict the minimal blood sprays presented in the original Xbox and PC versions.

Profanity

  • The end credits song contains cut-off (i.e. censored) use of the word "motherf**ker".
  • There is some use of mild bad language throughout ("goddamn", "damn", "ass", "bastard").
  • The word "dick" is used once as an insult.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is briefly seen with a cigarette in his mouth, but it does not get lit.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • When enemies hear a noise made by the player, it triggers a sudden loud noise. Can make the player jump, given how quiet it is in the game
  • Being spotted or hearing loud noises at slient moments during missions can startle some players. Some parts during missions can be tense.
