Sex & Nudity

  • About 17 minutes into movie, guards grab a young guy and shove him in a cell. One guard says "have fun." An inmate in the cell graphically rapes the young guy. The young guy's butt is exposed from the side while he is raped. He screams while the rapist continues to thrust. For the rest of the film the man is in a wheel chair.
  • A few prison rapes are implied, but not shown. A man walks into another man's cell, followed by shouts of "No! No!", then screaming.
  • Around the beginning of the movie, a woman is talking to a man on the telephone, a man attempts to rape a woman. The rapist puts his hand on the middle of her chest (she's wearing a bra) and slides his hand down to her panties. The woman struggles to stop him then he stabs her.
  • The lead actor keeps remembering his wife, in bathing suits/swim wear.

Violence & Gore

  • A man stabs Kyle's wife in the chest with a stiletto knife, killing her.
  • Frequent strong bloody violence
  • The warden organises fights between the inmates. In one of these a prisoner knees another prisoner in the face so hard that blood and debris spurts out the prisoner's mouth. In another fight Kyle bites through his opponent's throat, killing him. We see the bloody results.
