Two guys, one of whom is getting a tattoo. A hot girl who provides the tattoo. One of the guys develops a relationship with her, but when it later become apparent that he cannot impregnate her and fulfill their desires of r a child, his friend obliges. Then, a devastating medical diagnosis puts the obliging third party on track for an early death. Naming their child after their deceased friend provides a minimal amount of consolation.
This film really never got off the ground emotionally for me, perhaps because there were far too many sudden shifts in narrative: the relationship, the infertility, the AIDS, the death. It was if while I was just getting used to the existing situation, a new fundamental change came upon the soituation.
Still, creditable effort.
