This documentary follows five young people associated with the house and techno scene in Stavanger, Norway. The movie focuses on young people's search for their identity, and their efforts to belong both in their everyday lives and in the house scene. At the same time it shows how some believe the answers are found through experimenting with drugs. The film shows clearly how mistaken and empty such a life is, but it portrays it without letting moral and comments dictate the movie. It's a slightly different movie about the house and techno scene, because it hasn't got a one-sided focus only on the negative aspects of the scene. We meet, among others a young dance and music teacher who's genuinely interested in the music and dancing in this music genre. She hasn't let drugs be a major factor for her participation in the scene. But we also meet many young people who relate to the rave scene and the music, because drugs and being high is a part of the whole experience.
