Excellent Teen Soap
junay0118 January 2006
I remember watching this around the sumer of 1999 when it was released in the US through Univision at noon. All the characters were amazing, starting with Gaby Espino who played an excellent role as the rich girlfriend of the character Adrian.

The story revolved mainly around the love triangle of Adrian, Linda and Natalia (Gaby Espino). Linda is Adrian's best friend and they have an unbelievable great amount of chemistry on screen. Both of the villains played amazing roles as well, specially Erika who's mere look let everyone know that she was one evil temptress. The parents also played convincingly. Adrian's mother was excellent and Linda's mother played a very funny yet eccentric person just like her daughter.

I wish this would have been released in DVD,because is one of the last few good Venezuelan Telenovelas.

A Todo Corazon

Warning: Spoilers
This was the contemporary Latin teen soap opera during the glory days of Dawson's Creek. A Todo Corazon was filmed, created, and aired in 1997 in Venezuela. Then it was aired in 1998 in PR and 1999 in USA. It showed the love story of two best friends who were too blind to see that their friendship was based on true love. The plot was one easy to follow and identify with if you were a teenager. You had Adrian's crazy and over protective sister, Melissa. Adrian's best friend who happened to be in love with his sister Melissa. Patricia the best friend who even though did not like Adrian's rich girlfriend stood by him in the good times as well as in the bad times. At the end of the story it took many ups and downs and the end of their high school years to realize how valuable of all their friendships were and how they had real love in front of them all those years. The name of the soap being "A Todo Corazon" translating with all your heart gave away the basic idea behind the plot, that if you put out your heart in what you believe then all your dreams will come true in the end.
