In near future L.A. Billy is a Cyberpunk cameraman, turned metal freedom fighter for the Terminus cause.

This is basically a rock video homage to 'Tetsuo: Iron Man' & 'Tetsuo II: Body Hammer' by 'The Lawnmower Man'/'Virtuosity' director Brett Leonard. With special effects created by Stan Winston's creature shop, you could say it's a Rock n' Roll introduction for the uninitiated to Cyberpunk lore.

This Billy Idol video for his overlooked 1993 album 'Cyberpunk', not placed on Mtv's heavy rotation as his previous hits, which irked the Idol one very much, after a lot of cash flow went into making this production. A home video release of this was made, featuring the making of the 'Shock To The System' video highlights with some mirth, merriment and lots of hamming up by Brett Leonard, Idol and Stan Winston.

The video also features Billy's techno cover of Lou Reed's 'Heroin' which is also on the album.
