Lizzo sent the world of social media into a frenzy when she posted just days ago on her Instagram that she is quitting. Although the singer did not clarify what exactly was she quitting, fans and haters took it as her quitting music and the music industry for good following the many lawsuits lodged against her.

As her post went viral, fans were disheartened while her haters rejoiced. Meanwhile, the lawyer representing the three dancers suing her went on to state that it was just another PR stunt by the Grammy winner. And proving him right is Lizzo’s recent statement explaining that she isn’t going anywhere.

Young Miko, J Balvin, and Jowell y Randy are showing their colmillos, or fangs, on their long-awaited collaboration with Tainy. On Wednesday, the five artists teamed up and released an Edm-backed, perreo mega-collab, along with its cinematic video.
The video, directed by Pau Carreté, opens with a seeming attempted robbery before cutting to close-ups of Young Miko singing the opening lyrics of the song. The scenes flash between the star, a dancing robot, and a kitten. Balvin then comes in as images of New York City flash onscreen. He raps...

Washington, April 8 (Ians) The US space agency on Saturday launched a powerful new instrument into space to track air pollution, which would provide unprecedented resolution of monitoring major air pollutants.
The Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (Tempo) instrument will improve life on Earth by revolutionising the way scientists observe air quality from space.
“The Tempo mission is about more than just studying pollution — it’s about improving life on Earth for all. By monitoring the effects of everything from rush-hour traffic to pollution from forest fires and volcanoes, NASA data will help improve air quality across North America and protect our planet,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson.
NASA’s Tempo launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

“She’s All That” changed Rachael Leigh Cook’s life. The 1999 teen romantic comedy — a modern-day retelling of “Pygmalion” — starred Cook as Laney Boggs, a homely, artsy outcast who transforms, in late ’90s parlance, into a “total hottie” and captures the heart of the high school heartthrob, played by Freddie Prinze Jr.
When the movie opened in theaters, it grossed $103 million worldwide, birthed a chart-topping soundtrack (thanks to Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me”) and made both of its leads into sought-after commodities in Hollywood.
It’s an experience Cook, now 40, looks back on with nostalgic fondness.
“I’m just grateful every day that I didn’t come of age in the era of camera phones, and yet, that makes me sound way more scandalous than I actually was,” says Cook, who started acting professionally at age 14.
But Cook still grapples with how to describe the formative years of her career.

After much acclaim for his 2007 novel, Call Me By Your Name, André Aciman's story continues in the recently released sequel Find Me, a novel following the various beginnings and ends of relationships of characters who all seem to confront their "many lives." Aciman's first novel was an intimately immersive show of love and its metaphysical battle with time, and similarly to his first story and our introduction to the love between Elio (played in the film by Timothée Chalamet) and Oliver (Armie Hammer), Find Me explores time. Thematically speaking, the novel presents parallels between older selves versus their younger counterparts, father and son reflections, and questions if age is a deterrent or not to living life on the other side of the river bank.
In case you are itching to know what has happened to Elio and Oliver since the latter's ending phone call in Cmbyn, here is a...

Nominations for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will be announced on Wednesday, November 20, and it has been an especially good year for R&b thanks to new music from a series of rising stars like Khalid, Ari Lennox, Ella Mai, Anderson Paak and H.E.R., not to mention R&b mainstays including Fantasia, Raphael Saadiq, Mariah Carey and India Arie. And it wouldn’t be the Grammys without Beyonce, who released not one but two albums this year (“Homecoming: The Live Album” and “The Lion King: The Gift“).
Here are the top seven contenders who I think have the strongest potential to clean up in the R&b field this year.

[Editor’s note: This post contains spoilers for André Aciman’s “Find Me.”]
There are few things Hollywood loves more than a beloved film property that can spawn its own movie universe, or at least a profitable sequel or two. But in a glutted market filled with sprawling franchises that have grown ever more predictable, some sequels provide a welcome alternative. Such is the case with Luca Gudagnino’s lush adaptation of André Aciman’s 2007 novel “Call Me by Your Name,” which traces the stirring summer romance between teenager Elio and graduate student Oliver, and has now received a sequel in book form.
Aciman’s latest, the much-anticipated “Find Me,” follows the characters into the next stage of their lives and is out today. What does it portend for a potential new movie?

Season 16 of Fox’s”So You Think You Can Dance” has come to a close with 19-year-old b-boy Bailey “Bailrok” Munoz taking the title of America’s favorite dancer. The key to success for the first-ever break-dancer to win the top spot was his versatility when it came to different types of choreography. The 5-foot-tall ball of energy was rarely daunted by routines outside of his comfort zone — save for maybe the cha cha. But this gifted entertainer always gave it his all.
In fact, Bailey was featured in nine routines of various permutations, including five duos – three with partner Mariah Russell, one with All-Star Koine Iwasaki and another with Gino Cosculluella. He was also took part in a male trio with Gino and ballroom dancer Ezra Sosa. And he participated in three group numbers with the rest of the Top 10 contestants. "I'm a thick b*tch, I need tempo," Lizzo warns in her latest contagiously confident song, "Tempo." The follow-up to her hugely popular "Juice" also features Missy Elliott in what Lizzo described as a full-circle moment in an emotional Instagram post featuring a selfie of the two artists taken long before they formally decided to collaborate.
Lizzo explained she met Missy two years ago, and was able to show her some of her music. Lizzo said she took the selfie with Missy assuming she wouldn't get a chance to meet her again. "But also . . . deep down inside I knew one day we'd have something even more special than a selfie," Lizzo added. Now, the two have released what we're already declaring one of our favorite songs of the year.
