Unusual art experiment

"Caramujo-flor" is a weird and pretentiously poetic short film about a poet so obsessed by nature that he becomes a part of it transforming himself into an animal, the Caramujo from the title among others. It's a very confusing film that has the benefit of having memorable and creative images that makes the view a curious experience. To me, my favorite sequence is when the alligator is crossing the hallways of an empty subway station or the great Aracy Balabanian's cameo even though I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying while performing Manoel de Barros eccentric poem. For those who enjoy unusual pieces of cinema this is a must-see. 6/10.
