One wonders who invested money in this ill conceived black comedy from Spain. As directed, and co-written by Javier Rebollo, this Spanish entry is an example what is wrong in their film industry. For a handful of good movies from that country, there are even more horrible movies, such as this one, that are painful to sit through, as is the case with "Killer Housewives".
We are given an absurd situation in which a married woman caught in a bad marriage has had it. Azucena has a lover who works for her husband. Things are so bad, she wants to knock him off, so she can enjoy her erotically charged sessions with her lover, but little does she know he has other plans. A senseless killing leads to other crimes, which do not make much sense.
It is clear Mr. Rebollo had no idea what he was getting into when he decided to get this project off the ground. Black comedy requires a lot of talent, something that is clearly lacking here. Watch it at your own peril.
