When the ChuckleMobile gets a flat tyre late at night and far from home the brothers take refuge in an old dark house, which spooks Barry. Paul goes through a door into a beautiful garden where an ultra-polite butler, who is Barry's double, tells him that all wishes come true. Paul, however, laments the lack of humour and comes back through the door, falling over. He then comes to see that he had fallen down and hit his head and imagined his whole visit to the garden.

Paul and Barry travel to Scotland, France - where they are pursued by a Clouseau type cop, Italy, Mexico - where they get thrown in jail - Borneo, Australia and the North Pole to bring the many members of the far-flung Chuckle clan back to Rotherham to celebrate Cousin Lottie's christening party for her new-born twins.

Paul wins a newspaper contest for naming seventeen different fruits.It is a day at Bedsite Manor, sampling the high life, with a butler called Crossley. However, the brothers manage to break a Ming vase, destroy an eighteenth century painting and disrupt proceedings on the croquet lawn before they discover that the prize is not exactly what they had imagined.

The Chuckle Brothers are competing in a cross-country marathon and Paul aims to beat Barry by cheating - stalling him, as well as stealing a shopping trolley, a skateboard and a motor-bike. However, when the pair approach the Finish line, retribution is waiting for Paul - or rather, the people whose items he stole.

Paul and Barry find themselves back in the eighteenth century, where they keep getting robbed by a highwaywoman, whom they mistakenly believe is their friend, the Countess. The Countess rescues them after the highwaywoman has tied the brothers up and they race to stop her robbing the bullion coach.

Whilst working as eighteenth-century blacksmiths the Chuckle Brothers are approached by a smuggler to take a valuable French watch over to Dan Le Van in France, but they are relieved of it by Robespierre, who is now the landlord of a country pub. The watch changes hands several times before the smuggler is arrested by Customs man Ebenezer Bentparcel and the silly siblings go on their way.

Paul and Barry are in Scotland, on their way to the Loch Aye Highland Games,where they intend to represent the Clan McChuckle and win the Ancient Haggis Mallet of the Young Pretender. They meet up with ferry captain Lachlan McSlachlan who is determined to stop them from reaching their destination when they set foot on his ferry.
