"Boulder Blues and Pearls and..." is one of the later works by Stan Brakhage and it was made almost 25 years ago. My views here are entirely subjective. If you like Brakhage's usually very similar approach or just love electronic music, then this may very well be a good watch for you. I personally don't like either and that's why it was almost painful to sit through. Over 20 minutes of Brakhage felt like they would never end, even if, occasionally, he goes away from his trademark style. I personally really disliked the watch and I can only bear his films if they run for 5 minutes max. This one here totally confirms that again. Don't watch. Unless you love what I wrote above.
