Great dialogue and shot in beautiful black and white
NewYorkNicky26 July 2003
Found this winner at Rocket Video on LaBrea. This director has great vision

and tells a tight story that's universal and personal at the same time. If you like old fashion love stories, classic movies like the Bogie and Bacall films, and b&w photography-rent this one right away!

Renny and CJ meet in a black out in the elevator and get the hots for each other before the audience gets to see that he's black and rich and she's white and

poor. They're cool with it but her family's racist and his family's classist so thus the problems ensue.

The opening shot of this film has incredible depth of field for cinematography buffs. Simply put, this film is beautiful.
