- Catherine Gaits is married to the rich Parker Gaits, who owns several private health clinics. The two make a trip to a remote island which can only be visited by helicopter. Parker is interested in a yacht that is for sale there and meets with Peter Thornton, who trades in ships. But when Parker is called back for an emergency and Catherine misses the last helicopter back, she is stuck on the island. Peter Thornton makes a nice gesture and invites her on to his sailing boat. Not entirely happy about her relationship with Parker, Catherine spends the night in bed with Peter. The following day she makes it very clear that she sees it as a night never to forget, but not to be repeated. But Thornton is determined not to give up. He follows her, shows up unexpectedly in compromising situations and finds a way to blackmail her.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
