- "She's having lunch with Charles" is what Cora, April's assistant, tells April's husband, Tong, over the telephone. That is enough for Tong to hop on a plane to come after his wife as he thinks she's fallen in love with another man. Originally from Hong Kong, April now lives in Vancouver, whereas Tong, who has a limited knowledge of English, still lives in Hong Kong. They've been apart for three years. April has given Tong an ultimatum: move to Canada or their marriage is over. But once in Vancouver, Tong learns that April, who is unaware that her husband has come for her, is on her way to Banff on a business trip. Tong takes a road trip across southern British Columbia in search of his wife. Meanwhile, new ageist couple, Matthew and Natasha, are having problems of their own. Natasha, also on her way to Banff for a singing gig, is followed by Matthew. Neither Matthew or Tong realize how close they are to finding Natasha or April. On their respective road trips, each discovers what is truly in their heart.—Huggo
