From desire to reality

Warning: Spoilers
Returning home after an extended journey abroad, Manole, a very famous sculptor, is haunted by the shadow of his ultimate masterpiece, yet to be created. "Sburatorul" (name of a Romanian ancient deity similar to Cupid) is meant to encompass the essence of life, the volcanic energy within that the artist wants to crown his creativity with. But when it finally comes to light it only reveals the worst of his thoughts: regret for not having been there for his sons when they were kids, nostalgia after his long gone youth, shame for the woman who always loved him as flawed as he'd been. "Moartea" (Death) is the only name that could be given to the monstrosity his hands brought to shape. It should never be seen by anyone. It should be destroyed. It should be send back to the depth of his tenebrous soul. With his last words he commissions Vlad, the elder son who followed him in creation, to destroy the unseeable and give "Sburatorul" a soul.
