Blondie is Always Good!
This German music program from 1978 really shows how Blondie could perform before they really made it big (which wasn't until about 1980-1981).
Debbie Harry is full of energy and belts out the songs right from the stage, through the TV screen, and into your face. The way the band moves around on stage is fantastic, showing that they really know what they're doing. After seeing this DVD twice now, I still can't stop thinking about how great of experience it was to have seen such a spectacular concert.
To sum it up, BUY THIS DVD!!!! You won't regret it, and if you're as much of a Blondie fan as I am, you will want to see this over and over again.
A couple things I need to mention: This performance is from 1978 (but released before their hit album "Parallel Lines" which contains "Heart of Glass"), so the audience isn't as wild and crazy as they would be today. The title "Blondie" and the band members' names appear on the screen a few times throughout the show (Frank Infante's name being credited as Frank Freak, kinda funny!). And finally, just keep in mind that this performance is RARE so you know you're getting something great and worth having.
