Sex & Nudity

  • In a few times, several corpses are naked. On male corpses, penises can be seen.
  • During the Nepal footages, a few drawings of nude people, as well as a few carvings of sexual positions, can be seen.

Violence & Gore

  • The film's main theme is death. In relation to this, the topic is often talked about, and corpses (bloody or not), funerals and different rituals over the world are often seen throughout.
  • A man takes care of the hand of a corpse.
  • An old family member has died due to a disease. Her face appears to be disfigured.
  • A rooster and a swine have their throats cut, allowing the blood to be poured into small bowls. The swine cries in pain.
  • Several oxes are clubbed to death, and later cut in pieces in great details.
  • Several violent clips from various movies are shown on a TV-screen.
  • A woman speaks out about her husband who has died, and talks about cancer.
  • As several doctors are taking care of a male corpse, we see in one scene that the dead body has been cut open for examination, and then sewed.
  • A matador kills a bull, which is already seen with spears stuck in it's back.
  • Several roosters are seen having been slaughtered. A bloody rooster is thrown. An another animal has it's head cut off in close up.
  • A Mexican man, who's mother has died, tells about how he was stabbed in his stomach. Meanwhile, several other patients and victims are bloody. A man endures a surgery, where his stomach is about to be cut open. An another man dies, while several doctors try to save him.
  • A corpse has endured an autopsy, as his head and body is seen already cut open, and then sewn.
  • A man sings a song, which has death as the theme.
  • A man tells about how corpses are being freezed. We also see several people who had died by some circumstances.
  • One scene depicts disturbing sights of rotting corpses.
  • Two scenes shows a corpse being burned during funerals.
  • During one scene of cremation, a corpse is burned to ashes.
  • A dead dog is seen once.
  • A man is gunned down by two men, and is about to get buried.
  • Once they learn about a grandmother's death, multiple people immediately cry out loudly.

Profanity

  • None. Unless you count on just a few "God" and "Jesus Christ" being uttered, but that is being related to funerals.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several people drink liquor.
  • A man smokes a cigar.
  • A Mexican male patient gives out a brief reference to a beer bottle.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This documentary may be disturbing to some people, as this film deals with death. The animal killings may upset some animal lovers. (Deleted. Personal opinions about suitable viewing ages are not appropriate for the Parents Guide.)
