Lots of fun!

Warning: Spoilers
She, Lucifer and I is based on the Alberto Insúa novel El Amante Invisible and has Abel Salazar as Jorge, a playboy given the power of invisibility by Lucifer (Carlos López Moctezuma) himself to become more desirable to the ladies. His goal is to win over the gorgeous singer Isabel (Sara Montiel) who has no interest in him, despite his newfound Satanic ability.

Lucifer understands and gives him another idea. Why not wear a mask and court her as if he were a dashing rogue like Zorro? That works, up until when Jorge takes off the disguise and Isobel shoots him dead. Now, the devil must bring him back to lie, because Lucifer didn't want him. With a soul as cold as Isabel's, she has a special place in Hell by the side of the First of the Fallen.

Director and writer Miguel Morayta directed more than seventy films, including The Invasion of the Vampires and Dr. Satan. While not a film filled with fright, there's plenty of light-hearted fun here in an odd movie that comes from an incredibly religious country yet portrays el diablo in a good light.

Dramatic feature with misleading title.

Warning: Spoilers
First, to clear things up. This movie is NOT Horror oriented. The plot deals with Lucifer but in such a dramatic and almost soap-operish manner.

The plot deals with a man (Salazar) that is deeply in love with a beautiful singer (the wonderful Sara Montiel); but she's not on his league so he decides to make a pact with Lucifer in order to get the singer to fall in love with him. So the deal is done and that's when the plot develops.

The movie is filmed in the likes of a theater play; you can clearly say that because of the acting and direction. Also, the musical moments in the movie are very theater like. Those musical moments totally give you an idea of the atmosphere of the movie.

The rest of the movie deals with the romantic couple and their economical and personal interests.

So if you are looking for a Horror movie; go look elsewhere. This is more of a tale of love that had the good taste to involve Lucifer.

Not a great movie if you ask me, but it's a delight to watch Mrs. Montiel, Salazar, and the great Lòpez Moctezuma.
