a movie and human lesson

Henri-françois Imbert is in search.Like in his former film, "Sur les plages de Belfast", he's looking for the living memory of other people. Here, a former friend of his parent, Doulaye, who went back in Mali during war. So H-F flies to Bamako to find him, whatever Doulaye is dead or not. The pictures of Africa are wonderful, because it is seen with the heart. We can understand how the film is builded in reaction to the people H-F meets. And here begin the experience and the sensation it could make us feel.

A masterpiece of documentary
