Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Hera turns her ribbon into two poisonous snakes to have baby Hercules killed. Hercules sees the two snakes and throws them on the wall, seemingly killing them instantly.
  • Multiple men wrestle and swordfight, for training purposes.
  • Hercules is nearly run over by his cart during his race against Eurystheus. He gets back up and continues the race.
  • Hera turns some plants into some poisonous snakes, targeting an elderly woman. Then the scene cuts to Hercules and Megara hearing the woman screaming, and discover her lifeless body. The woman is now dead.
  • Hercules fights multiple creatures, killing several of them. No blood, it's all mild.
  • Hercules grabs another man by his outfit and throws him.
  • Atlas' two daughters tell Hercules that he has to slay them before he can pick some golden apples. Hercules says he'd rather slay himself instead of pretty ladies, and never does anything like that.
  • Hercules is grabbed around his throat by another musculous man. He manages to get himself free, then lifts up the man and is about to throw him into the water that would turn him into a ghost. He doesn't do that.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • While there are some scenes of mild dramatic, peril, and some mildly scary creatures, this cartoon is nowhere as scary as the Disney version from 1997.
