In Los Angeles, the aspirant painter John Roer (Jack Turturici) lives in a studio and is very close of his twin sister, the actress and screenwriter Sue Roer (Palmer Lee Todd). Sue is trying to impulse John's career, expecting to convince the owner of the Orlando Gallery, Barbara Rendl (Kate McIntyre), to exhibit his paintings, but Barbara waits for the "green light" from the tough curator Alex Neville (Liesl Lombardo). Sue is presenting a play about control with the actor Steve Haun (Trent Bross) in the theater and invites John to see her work. But John is having difficulties to conclude his last painting and sometimes he has bloody nightmares and proceeds the painting. When the artist Christy Chapel (Kandeyce Jorden) and the aspirant actress Kathy Kelly (Bridget Flanery) are murdered, John has dreams with them and becomes afraid he is the killer. When he meets Alex Neville, he asks for help to her. Who might be the killer?
"Fatal Expression" is a thriller with many good points. First, the introduction and the conclusion with paintings in movement. The gorgeous actresses is another plus. The screenplay is intriguing and holds the attention of the viewer. Unfortunately the conclusion is disappointing. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): "Fatal Expression - Estranhas Alucinações" ("Fatal Expression - Strange Hallucinations")
