Alright, for what it is

This movie is advertised today as "the Argentinean 'Porky's'", but it actually bears more resemblance to earlier American sexploitation films or perhaps the Italian "La Liceale" series (which was called "La Colegiala" in Spanish-speaking countries). It is set in a very American-looking "Happy High School" where students dress in 80's fashions rather than school uniforms. The "students", of course, are all overage (which was true of the American "Porky's"-type movies as well)and the teachers (the female teachers, at least) are all unusually young. But unlike the American films of its time this doesn't focus so much on teen issues (i.e. trying to "lose it") as it does on general sexually-related hijinks. There is a male teacher, for instance, who can't stop imagining his students and co-worker's nude, and these strange hallucinations seem to be caused for some reason by another male teacher's uncontrolled sneezing fits.

The main plot involves the school director bringing in a female inspector to clean up the school. This worries the students for some reason to the extent that they confront the inspector at her house and accidentally knock her out. They then decide to kidnap her and replace her with the sexy stripper "aunt" of one of the girls (who is naturally sleeping with several of the guys). The real director meanwhile falls madly in lust/love with one of her male captors after they eat an erotic meal of fruit and sausages together. Meanwhile a goody-good student and her hypocrite father begin to suspect the ruse . . . So will there be a lot of crazy hijinks? Will everything work out happily in the end? Will the entire female cast (and an unfortunate amount of the male cast) find some excuse to get naked? If you've seen any one of these films I'm sure you know the answer.

By the way, the title, which translates to "The Schoolgirls Have Fun", may be highly exploitable but is pretty inaccurate since this hare-brained plot is entirely hatched by the male students and the "older" stripper/aunt. I also doubt this movie will give you much feel for what it was like to be an actual high school student in Argentina in the 1980's (I'm pretty sure, for instance, in Catholic Argentina, even after the fall of the right-wing military dictatorship, female students weren't going around wearing skimpy miniskirts and no underwear at school). Still, for what it is, I guess it's alright.
